Reavis Rehab Excels at
the 2008 CFF Sports Challenge

AUSTIN, TX--November 15, 2008   The Reavis Reavis and Wellness Center sponsored team competed this Saturday in the 2008 Sports Challenge, a half-day contest of mini-Olympic style events raising awareness and funds to support the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! Our team took home 2 medals competing head-to-head with other corporate sponsored teams at the Texas School for the Deaf on South Congress.

“Next year we’ll challenge for the coveted Traveling Trophy,” declared Chris Youso, Clinical Director of Reavis Rehab.

Contributions from the Sports Challenge provided for medical research, specialized care clinics, and programs that impart a better quality of life for thousands of people with cystic fibrosis (CF) and, ultimately, search for a cure. More than 90 cents of each dollar donated went toward CF medical research and care centers such as the one at Dell children’s Hospital of Austin and Scott & White Hospital.
