Occupational Therapy became an interest to me a few years ago. It wasn’t until I started working at Children’s Hospital as a trauma medical assistant when I was first exposed to Occupational Therapy.
I had the opportunity to watch therapists work with patients and in return watch those patients successfully develop and grow to reach their goals. After that experience, I decided to take the next step towards fulfilling on a career path in OT.
What I like most about working at Reavis Rehab is the small family oriented atmosphere. Working one-on–one with our patients is a great experience because I feel they benefit tremendously from this form of personalized treatment. I like helping people achieve their personal best.
I enjoy exploring photography and music when not at work. I also belong to the Texas Occupational Therapy Association (TOTA) and actively participate as the Vice President of the Capital Centex Chapter.
