Nurse's Spa Night

We celebrated our 2nd Annual Nurse’s Spa Night, and it was a huge success.

In honor of National Nurse’s Month, nurses from surrounding Round Rock clinics came together for a night of pampering. We served food and drinks while they enjoyed personalized facials and hand massages by The Paul Mitchell Academy of Austin. Nurses also relaxed during their brief body massages given by Ron Vaughn with Athletic Tune-Up Professionals.

Reavis Rehab created a serene atmosphere with candles and tranquil music. Door prizes and goodie bags were given out to those that attended.

It was a wonderful and pleasant evening for all that participated.

Therapist Spotlight

Donna Brath-Sowell, PT

What can I say, I Love my Career! I have been a Physical Therapist for over 30 years. I was born and lived in New York until I was 16 years old. My Dad was transferred to Houston, Texas in 1970. I finished High School in Houston and then went to UT in Austin. I continued my education at UT Health Science Center in Dallas for P.T. School and graduated in 1976. I have worked in Houston, Richmond, Round Rock, and Austin.
I began my career at Methodist Hospital in Houston. I was given the position to handle all the Pro-Athletes that were admitted from the Astros, Oilers, and Aeros. What a GREAT Job that was, but then I was given an opportunity that led to my ‘true calling’. I started working with Handicapped Children. I have also worked in an Orthopedic Doctors Clinic, at a State School (where I started a Hippotherapy Program, horseback riding therapy), in Outpatient Clinics, and even taught at Austin Community College for the PTA Program. I have worked at Reavis Rehab for almost 5 years now. Reavis Rehab Clinic has shown me that there are still caring people out in the world. It’s a Family run business and they ‘Care’ about each and every Patient, like they are “Family.” All of the Staff are well educated, professional, and very caring individuals. At Reavis Rehab, I am able to continue with providing therapy to Children and Adults on land and in my favorite place, the ‘Water’. And when I’m not at the Clinic, I enjoy traveling, especially to beaches and scuba diving.
